Itinerary for the 3 day Hyderabad trip from bangalore

The bangalore guys can always plan for a 3 day trip to Hyderabad and  Here I am mentioning  some of the important places which they have to visit during their trip.

Day 1
·         8am  - 9.30am : Arrival ,Check in of the room , freshen up , have break fast ..:)
·         10am – 2PM  : Look for a nice movie in the IMAX Screen (world's largest IMAX-3D Screen) in the Prasadz multiplex.Dont miss the chance as this is available only in 4 metro cities  in India –Hyderabad , Mumbai ,Ahmadabad and Luknow. If you plan to see the movie , u need to book the ticket online one week back.
·         2pm -3pm : Have lunch from the Prasadz multiplex itself – Subway, KFC etc is there..U can roam around also there as it is a small mall as well.
·         3pm-5 pm : NTR garden – Remember NTR garden will be open only at 2.30pm .So don’t plan to come here before that in case you are not watching any movie in IMAX.It is just at the back side of IMAX .May be 1KM to the entrance of it..you can walk –but better catch an auto to save time .In NTR garden you can take a lot of snapshots with the beautiful garden behind you(and can take some snacks too !! as it is tea time). You can  board the train as it will help you to see the entire garden at one stretch . After that just go to the different sites that you liked.
·         5pm – 7pm : Lumbini Park – Again there is just 1Km from NTR to Lumbini entrance gate.It is a small park besides the Hussain Sagar lake. You can go to the Great Buddha Statue in the middle of the lake in  Boat. But the important part in the Lumbini is the “laser show” which you should not miss. It will start @ 7pm.So better you find out the spot where the laser show is as soon as you enter the park and then go for other things like boating and all.
·         7.30pm -8.30pm : Birla temple :(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Birla_Mandir,_Hyderabad) – Temple constructed fully with white marbles. From the top of it you can see the entire twin cities (Hyderabad-secunderabad).After the laser show gets over @7.30pm get an auto to Birla temple. It is just another 1km from Lumbini  to the temple.
·         For dinner you can go to “Eat street” .It is in the necklace road (road opposite to IMAX road..)

Day 2 :
Film City : the starting ceremony of film city is at 9.30am.But the busses usually reach at 10.30-11am.You need to book the bus ticket to Film city (Rs500 per person) in advance in any travel agency which supports Film city .After reaching the Film city ,u need to take the entrance ticket which is another Rs400/person.After that there  will be that strange red buses that you have seen in the movie Udayananu tharam. They will take us in that bus and show us the glimpses of the entire film city. After that they will leave us at a place and from there onwards we can walk around and see the places and take photographs  etc. Please remember to collect the pamphlet  of the Film city where in they will specify the maps and the different shows they are conducting for us.Don’t miss  any of the show especially the “stunt show” , “movie show” etc.See the time of that show and reach that spot at the correct time.So plan your route of the roam-around in such a way that you will reach the “show spot” easily at the right time.Lunch can be taken in any of the hotel inside (a bit costly and they will not allow us to take inside our own food items)..So enjoy and take a lot of snapshots with different backgrounds as in the movie ….so have a good digital camera with you..So at around 5.30pm you have to get back to the point where the travel agency fellow tells and that’s it …He will take you back to the point from where he picked you up.

Day 3
Last day – here I will be telling some important tourist places in Hyderabad. You can make your own choices based on interest and the time availability.
·         Charminar : Approx <1hr journey from IMAX. There you can go to the top of the charminar by paying some Rs 5 / person. And bottom – full shopping with bargaining. What I heard is you can bargain upto one fourth of the initial price. You can try some pearls also there –but no guarantee..

Historical Charminar...

·         Now if you are interested in museums – there is one Salar junk Museum just 3 Km away from Charminar…very big ---somethings are very good in that…but it is too big that people like me get bored easily. So may be you can have a fast glance at everything.
·         Now if you want shopping in Malls , there is Hyderabad central and then there is GVK One Mall (another 2 Km from Hyd Central)and The city centre (0.5 Km from GVK mall).GVK Mall may be worth seeing .
·          Also If you want to purchase good pearls there is one “Jagadamba Pearls “ in Paradise Circle.Pearl bangles ,earings and everything in different ranges we can get there . Paradise circle will be on the other side of Lumbini park and all. These are all coming surrounding the Hussain sagar lake.
·         The paradise circle got its name because of the big and the famous hotel named “The paradise”
You can have biriyani from there..but just remember that the one  Hyderabad biriyani will be as costly as Rs 150 and can be taken by two normal persons. But What I felt is th paradise biriyani has lost its earlier charm , but still you can manage with it.
·         Snow world :  is an amusement park .This is located in the lower tank bund road.  200 tonnes of artificial snow was laid on the layered flooring which was specially prepared to avoid seepage or melting. Every day, the top layer of snow is cleaned and an additional two to three tonnes of snow, which is generated within the facility, is used to top the snow spread. The artificial snow is made using a patented technology from Australia. The water used is filtered four times before utilizing it to make snow such that even if children consume it, they will not be harmed. Here you can spend around 1 hour or so and can play in snow as if you are in Kashmir or Shimla..But a bit costly for the small time they permit—around Rs 450 per person. No need to carry special dresses for that , they will provide their coats , gloves and all.Worth to go once if you not planning to go to Kashmir or the likes in the near future ..Every visitor gets acclimatised to lower temperatures in a step-wise manner, 20 °C (68 °F), then 0 °C, and then a sub zero temperature. This method is approved internationally.
